The City of Edna will continue to spray for mosquitos this week.

Spraying began last week and will continue, City Manager Gary Broz said Tuesday morning.

According to data on the Community Collaborative Rain, Hail and Snow Network (https://www.cocorahs.org), the City of Edna received 8.04 inches of rain in May, which brought the mosquitos out in hordes. More rain is forecast for the next few days.

Residents are asked to help prevent breeding spots by dumping standing water from items such as buckets or planters.
